This is a modified 5x5 program that takes the famous 5x5 strength program, and adds power!

5x5 is great for beginners, but can lack volume as you progress in your lifting career. This version has some added volume, by switching out some high recovery exercises for several, less taxing, but more athletic movements.

This version has added power exercises for a more functional, powerful physique, whilst also adding some unilateral work and core anti - rotation. This makes the program much more functional, injury preventing and useful to athletes and those of us who just want to be powerful as well as big and strong.

You can have it all! And this modified 5x5 is just the program to start you off, or help you blast through plateau's.

The program is an Excel file, that will adjust the weights for you when you add in your 1 rep max for the selected exercises. Barbell and Cables (or bands) needed. It is a 3 day a week workout program, where the week is repeated with the weights increasing every week.
